Profile

My passion and experience intersect at the meeting of theatre, community, sex education and social justice. I believe that in making art, we can use both the process and the product to create new paradigms through which both artists and audience can find healing and be activated for change. I founded and direct at The Illyrian Players, a Los Angeles–based ensemble, where we explore challenging stories about cultural wounds around sexuality, and pair them with community forums. I am a practicing sex educator with an emphasis on consent, communication, reclaiming pleasure and de-stigmatizing kink/BDSM. I also work as a facilitator, specializing in ending misogyny in artistic communities and using theatre to help communities better support survivors of sexual violence. I am a passionate advocate for artists, championing communication and consent as an essential part of the creative process.
